After a long hot April, the rains have arrived in Phuket, and it's long overdue in my opinion.

April, along with March are the hottest months of the year, and this year has been no exception.

Of course, along with the rain comes even crazier driving conditions - if that's really possible, and long spells house-bound, but if that is the pain to bear for the cooler temperatures, then so be it.

There has already been a couple of fantastic storms roll in, accompanied by almost constant lightning for a couple of hours, which all makes good viewing especially when the power is out!
